Donation - Renissance Tickets

Well Stefanie just aquired Texas Renaissance Festival Tickets for the auction from Marie Flickenger with the South Belt Leader. Good Job Stef!

Now since I personally LOVE the Renaissance Festival I know I'll be bidding on those tickets. Stefanie's at the bank as we speak - so we'll be providing the bank information for those who would like to contribute to the fund. And remember folks anything - $5, $10, and I'm personally bringing Stefanie a check a wonderful person who I work with wrote yesterday for $1K. So again - anything. And I really want to stress just how much this means to Stefanie and Troy and especially to Troy'Michael. He's been a real trooper. More info to be coming soon. I know everyone must be excited, I know I am. God is Good. Thanks everyone, Christy.

DJ Donation

LIL "JOE'S" MOBILE DJ Service has donated 4 Hours of his service!
This is a value of $600.00. Thank You So Much!

Things are really starting to come together. Susan Lopes as well as Priscilla Sims are getting some of things together to add to a garage sale. God is good, how wonderful it is to see everyone offer to donate time, if not some thing to the cause. We ask if you know anyone, especially a business that you feel might be able to contribute by all means PLEASE let Stefanie or myself know so that we can give them a certificate. We'll be having an auction which Mr. Troy will be the auctioneer.
He's the Man people. Let me just say I think we'll be able to really bring in some well needed funds for the Karnes family.

I saw Troy'Michael yesterday and he looked GREAT! His scare looks "as mom would say - beautiful" But he's always been a fast healer - praise God. So this is really wonderful news.

Stefanie has set the date of Saturday August 18th. Time and location is forthcoming. So we'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again for all the warm thoughts and prayers. They have really been appreciated. Stefanie and Troy can't begin to tell you just how much this means to their family. So again - well done.
More to come - Christy Rowe.

More donations

We have a gift certificate for a tatoo. Valued at $50.00

And Danny Stephens has written a check for $1,000.00

Priscilla Sims has suggested we have a garage sale and all proceeds go to the family.

Now this is what I'm talking about - God is good. And we all have come together in this time of need. Thanks everyone, Christy Rowe.

More Donations

Stefanie, Please let me know what I can do to help. I can donate some time and some Tool Sets and misc. items for your silent auction...Let me know...Your friend ...Ed

Ed - Thanks so much - we will definitely be needing some items for the silent auction. Just an FYI things are starting to come together. Stefanie will be calling the IRS this week to get a Tax ID number. This will inable us to open an account at the bank for TroyMichael. So that way we'll be able to give out that info so if people want to donate they will be able to do so. We'll keep everyone posted as to when they will be able to contribute. I do want to say we thank everyone for their prayers and all that they have done and will do for the Karnes family. Again thanks in advance, Christy.

Donation Offer

Stephanie,

I will donate an all expenses paid fishing trip. The winners of the raffle/auction can use either live bait or artificial baits. You can advertise that I have fished the Walmart FLW Redfsih Cup tour, Winner of Specktacular Championships, and several top 10 finishes in major fishing tournaments along the Gulf Coast over the last 5 years. The winners can choose fishing in either the Galveston Bay Complex or the Matagorda Bay Complex. This kind of trip usually runs about $450.00 plus expenses...So, I would hope that it would at least bring in a few hundred bucks...Timothy

Now this is what I'm talking about - thanks Timothy this is an amazing gift.

How about some great news for a change?

Tim Lopas is now at home safe with his family!!!!!!!!!! Only God can allow only one bone in his nose to be broken. Bleeds have all stopped and he looks beautiful. Being inn the medical field for so long. His sister and I knew that multiple fractures to the face. The paramedics as well knew this. He was on his way to his maker and brought him back to his family. SEEEEEE God is in charge all of the time. AND PRAYER DOES WORK.

Love ya'll and thank you.

Stefanie

P.S. This e-mail prayer line is great.

YOU DID SUCH A GREAT JOB OF PRAYING FOR MY SON TROY'MICHAEL.(WHICH GOD IS AMAZING AT HOW HE RESTORES) HE IS DOING WELL AT HOME.
MY HUSBAND TROY IS NOW 1 YEAR IN REMISSION FROM HIS CANCER. GOD IS DIVINE.
GOD ALSO ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS FOR OUR FRIEND SCOTT CAMPBELL TO BE DELIVERED FROM CANCER. HE WAS. AND IS CANCER FREE IN GOD'S EMBRACE. GOD IS MERCIFUL.

I HAVE 2 URGENT REQUEST

1. MY BROTHER TIM LOPAS (sister of Jennifer Lopas Swann and we were raised together as siblings throughout our lives) WAS BRUTALLY BEATEN THIS MORNING. TWO YOUNG MEN TRIED TO STEAL TIM'S LIFE IN THE MOST HORRIFIC WAY. HE WAS JUMPED WHILE CLEANING OFF HIS BOAT AT A CAR WASH AT 45 AND EDGEBROOK. HE DOES HAVE QUITE Alot OF HEAD TRAUMA. THEY LET HIM UP WHILE THEY WENT FOR THE GUN. AT THAT TIME GOD GAVE HIM THE VISION OF HIS WIFE SUSAN AND THEIR 4 BEAUTIFUL GIRLS AND A PLAN OF ESCAPE. HE RAN FOR HIS LIFE. HE FOUGHT MORE THAN I THOUGHT THAT HE COULD IN THE CONDITION THAT HE IS IN.
HE IS ALIVE AND WILL PRAYERFULLY WILL BE HOME SOON.

2. OUR GOOD FRIEND TIP TINDALL HAD A STROKE AND IS IN ICU. HIS WIFE IS PETREA. TIP HAS HAD NUMEROUS HEALTH ISSUES THAT ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THIS CONDITION. PLEASE PRAY FOR HEALING IN ALL AREAS.

LOOK AT HOW GOD IS ON A ROLL OF RESTORING LIVES AND HEALING MORE THAN WHAT WE CAN SEE WITH THE EYE. HE IS BRINGING THE BODY OF CHRIST....BACK TO THE BODY. HE IS STRENGTHENING US THROUGH OUR ADVENTURES IN THIS LIFE.

Thank you,
Stefanie Karnes

My Place

I sit in a calm place of peace.
With whispers of tranquility.
Consumed by your beauty and awe.
I have the sun to warm me,
The cleansing water to heal me.
The waterfall that sings me a gentle song
I sit in thankfulness of your love and care.
To create such a place as this,........
for me.

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July! What an exciting day it is, for this is the day that we recognize our freedom as a country. Over some 200 years ago, I believe, is when this officially took place and it's awesome to acknowledge it for what it truly represents. For what those men truly were fighting for, freedom of religion. Now, around 2,000 years ago, a man, who was by the way God manifested in the flesh, named Jesus Christ offered us freedom for eternity not just the present. I'm fully persuaded that while He was on that old rugged cross, you and I were on His mind. What an awesome God we serve, who, to deliver us out of bondage and sin, robbed himself in flesh to be tested and tried in all the same manners as we are. Yet without sin! We are victorious in Christ, and I submit to you today, let not a day go by that we forget to give God the thanks for the freedom we truly do have! God Bless!2 Corinthians 3:17"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"Ronnie

Update on Our Boy

This is the first time that I've left the hosp. since we went back. So, this will be short. As most of you know Troy'Michael is back in the hosp.. The doctor wanted him o be life flighted to St. Luke's hospital He had to have emergency surgery again. They had to take out some of his intestines, his colon had to be moved from his chest cavity back to his abdomen, his organs started to attach them selves to his abd. wall (which they had to detach them. He has an open wound over the previous scar from the week prior, this is to allow the infection to be able leave the body. He has an abscess on his pancreas which required 2 drain lines that drain on the outside. He also has a staph infection. He is also going through the frequent abd bleeding that is terrifying to us. He wakes up in puddles of blood. Troy is not eating or wanting to talk to anyone. He made the comment to me that he wanted to quit the fight last night. He is tired of being in pain. Not to mention the bed sores. He now weighs maybe 100 lbs. if that.

We do get emails at the hosp and cards Just contact the hosp for the info. We do enjoy the encouragement. And mail time.

Please continue to keep him in your prayers. Troy is far from being stable.

Thank you for your prayers and support Guys.

Troy'Michael's recovery

Thank you guys for your prayers.

I know that I was not very good at keeping you up dated. I'm sorry.

OK, this is what happened..... Troy 17 years old, was injured playing sandlot football. He was tackled by a kid his size and weight. (accident) We called 911 when he was brought home to us, 2 hours later in critical condition. He was rushed into emergency exploratory surgery. The Doc informed us to prepare for the worse. It did not look good for his outcome. He had internal bleeding which required an additional 2 units of blood. Four hours later the doctor came out. He compared Troy's injuries to a soldier and a road side bomb. His spleen had a grapefruit size bruise. The damage was so severe the Doc had no choice but to remove the spleen completely. His pancreas was severed in half. (Now you can live with half but, not without one.) They cut him from his sternum to his pubic bone.

Today we came home one week later. He is still in horrible pain. We have a new life for him now. He will have to be careful with germs and infection.

He will live a full life and has a new outlook at life. Very positive and a great attitude. He now appreciates life and his family and friends. As do we as well.

Thank you to all of his family and friends that stood beside us. We love you Guys!!!!!!!!! Troy'M is taking note.

This will be a long road to healing for him.

May God bless each of you as he does for us,

Troy, Stefanie Jeremy, Troy and Nana
